so lightweight

I've been starting up some crosstraining in preparation for Nationals (just over a month away, eep!) in the form of yoga for my back (stronger, more flexible back hopefully = greater stability) and the 100 pushups program (more upper body strength hopefully = better bladework).
By either accident or design, V. has also been pushing my endurance in lesson. V. likens this to a spring - the further it's pushed the further it will spring back.
And my endurance HAS improved a good deal lately: I'm better able to keep going and be able to do something effective for longer. Badger noticed I'm moving more;
kiya was impressed that I was able to keep going, and I even got touches on people I have a long history of failing utterly against.
V. says "trust your body", and yet I find I still can't. It's long habit of mine to trust my head first, so it's counterintuitive to just "let go".
And truth told, I still feel like an utter lightweight because my allergies mess me up, or my the back pain as a result of ramping up interferes with my sleep. I've seen others do more in more pain and on less sleep, so I just don't feel like I'm "there" yet.
I want a new spine. Sleeping now.
