anotheranonWork did not run away without me while I was on vacation. Most meetings ended up cancelled for one reason or another, and half my group has been moved over to the new building. I got a look at our new space, which I will be moved to over the weekend - it's a cubicle, with partly transparent walls, so little privacy. However, I won't have my back to the door, which is a relief - I swear, the door thing is such a pet peeve for me that I must have been a hitwoman in a former life.
So most of the week will be spent packing up and working right to the last minute - Friday night my computer will be dismantled and re-mantled in the new site by Monday. No rest for the wicked...
Started a muslin today out of aging and overly flimsy spandex scrap I got a few years ago. I hope it gives a decent representation of fit, because I plan to use something much heavier for the real thing.
I'm going to try to stick to a stricter schedule and watch less tv in order to have more time for sleep/sewing. Now if I could just work out a legal way to eliminate sleep from my schedule....
