Great minds, etc.
Date: 2009-08-13 10:56 pm (UTC)The same publisher put out a similarly illustrated edition of her Rude Mechanicals a couple of years ago, and hopefully she'll produce more of these little gems for them to publish. :-)

Date: 2009-08-13 11:50 pm (UTC)And I came across this just today - she's doing a stand-alone novel about Edward Alton Bell-Fairfax (scroll down (http://io9.com/5334141/in-which-some-steampunk-novels-are-discussed))!

Date: 2009-08-14 12:49 am (UTC)"Rude Mechanicals" was a fabulous (and hilarious) little romp, and I'm sure that this new story will be just as good. Both books do share the same high quality Sub. Press construction (linen paper endpapers, thick creamy-coloured acid-free paper for the regular pages, and a lovely frontispiece that complements the cover).
I really must get 'round to ordering a copy of her Or Else My Lady Keeps the Key too.
