my left foot
Jan. 21st, 2009 09:35 pmI think I finally figured out the stubborn problem with my back foot.
Partly the plantar fasciitis, yes, but also my bad habit of standing on the outsides of my feet, particularly the left (back). It's nothing structural, just crappy posture on my part but I didn't realize HOW crappy until I started consciously correcting for it.
Suddenly... I can lunge without losing my balance! Start making tiny, juttering steps! And keep this up without the fatal "stitch" in the bottom of my foot!
Sure, my ankle's aching a bit but that's expected because I'm relaxing/tensing opposite sides of my usual supinated stance.
I hope to take this new toy out for a drive at a competition Saturday if I can kick this sniffly/throaty thing that hasn't quite gone away. Wish me luck :)
