Doublet trim designs - useful for me as I'm still so wedded to early 1990s minimalism that I sometimes forget that excess was de rigeur in the 1500s. I will be referring to this again.

Reproductions of Spanish gowns - I have some old burgundy silk blend drapes that want someday to be a Spanish high-necked gown, I'm sure of it.

Both of these links are reminders that I haven't scoured costume sites lately, and I've missed it!

Not surprising, as today I did more sewing in 2 hours than in the past 2 months(!) I've been slacking off terribly, and I have no excuse - I really do budget my time poorly these days.

Hopefully something worthy of photography by the end of the weekend!

Thanks for the doublet design site. It's very inspirational! Sometimes think that the folks at Bristol look a bit too much like we were all attacked by a cookie cutter. ;-)
