hello, would you like some crack?

Too many tempting things being placed before me!!

G Street fabrics is having a sale.

One of my historic costume lists is currently having a discussion about the best way to cut Tudor sleeves and necklines to make them look just like all those portraits of Henry VIII's wives - so interesting, in fact, that I've just GOT to make ANOTHER Tudor to see if these techniques will work, a project I emphatically have NO time for at the moment!

Cutting out the tailcoat lining religiously. Just both interfacings and the satin contrast to go. I would have cut more tonight but leaning over the table was starting to hurt, and I responsibly decided not to push it.

In an attempt to relax I gave myself a long-needed pedicure - I used a iridescent beige that I've not used for awhile; red seemed awfully dark for warm weather.

Tomorrow - par-tay with the interfacing.

Even though I just quoted that, I still most emphatically Did Not See It.

Augh! Purple douppioni (I'm positive I spelled that wrong, but you know what I mean I hope), here in a bag, that I specifically pulled out to bring over for you for chick night. If you're coming over for the birthday dinner/movie thing, I'll try to tape a post-it note to my forehead or something to remind me to give you that and the Matte. =)

Yeah, we kind of forgot all about the Matte/material thing. No worries, I'm in no rush.

The G. Street sale is next weekend. Interested?

Interested. Probably should avoid temptation to be safe, but what the hell...
Want to hit the one in Rockville or the one out here?

Seven Corners is probably the best location.

Don't worry, I've learned to restrain myself in fabric stores, I can show you too :)
