I think I'm in a bit of a rut.

For the past week-ish I've managed to stay busy with lots of fiddly things and haven't suffered for intellectual stimulation, but feel like I'm treading water. Better than drowning, certainly, but still irritating that I feel like I'm getting nowhere.

Trying to figure out why that is, and what I can do about it.

Sometimes treading IS doing something - you're keeping your head above water, you're maintaining, you're surviving. Sometimes that's all we can do for a bit till the boat comes to rescue us!

I've been in the same state of mind, but it's going to catch up with me because I have this damn chapter to finish. Part of it's the weather, methinks. Part of it is that I don't want to write the damn chapter. :p

I finally made a list, and am going to try to stick to it over the next week. If nothing else, I'll have the illusion I'm gettin something done.

Thing is, I can't rely on an exterior "rescue boat" - doG knows I've got no lack of external stimuli, but if anything's going to get done off of it it's up to me.

Some of it here is likely the weather, though I think you've got more cause for doldrums than I :P
