Messing with this stuff has highlighted the possible mummification/binding possibilities
It's interesting but there are engineering challenges. If you shrink it too tightly it rips, especially on uneven "diameter" body parts like the legs. To avoid this you use several layers, which is a pain without the industrial stuff in rolls. (Several times the cost of normal pallet wrap.) Also it has to get pretty toasty to shrink, and the bottom may have something to say about that... or at least some entertaining noises to make. :>
