PSA: pee != malice
Jul. 25th, 2006 06:01 pmJust wanted to thank everyone who replied re: Miss Spice.
Did a bit of online legwork today and it's possible you're correct - she has an infection, or might be out of sorts in general. The fact that we've had lots of company lately + my being stressed out (and sweating said stressed-out self all over my fencing gear) might also have something to do with it.
D. and I are going to try to get them both to the vet soon - they've needed a checkup for awhile, this little incident is just more impetus to actually make the appointment.
Meanwhile, I'm going to remember not to smack her or yell at her if it happens again - when cats pee out of bounds it's not for revenge, it's out of stress (bad OR good - for all I know she saw a really juicy bird out the window and got overexcited). Poor little thing probably needs a good brush out :(
