Found over at ginmar, something to fling at fundies who whinge on about the "War on Christmas" and the like:

Many Christians are complaining about being persecuted for their religious beliefs. Are you? Take this handy quiz to find out.

Tangentially, Ginmar has some very fine Buffy/Spike fic, if one is so inclined. Probably not very worksafe, so read when no one's looking over your shoulder.

It's not that original. I've seen similar stuff a few times over the past couple of years. I sort of mentally file these things away, mainly because of their tendencies to use phrasing such as "Many Christians" which buys into media stereotypes about Christians in this country.

A legitimate complaint - the Christians who actually do cry "help help, we're being repressed!" are not the majority, or even "many" - they are a small but vocal minority.

Not original, perhaps, but this is the first time I've seen it so humorously laid out :)

Thanks for the link ... I've sent it on to a college buddy whose extreme-right-wing brother has taken to emailing her "war on Christmas" stuff; I'm sure she's going to take great pleasure in choosing her moment to share that quiz with him. }:-)
