here comes the rain...again

anotheranonWoke up to the sound of pouring rain once again. Most of the weekend we were subject to the leftovers of Tammy, with one day of respite yesterday. D. and I took a walk around the neighborhood - he has been taking a lot of scenic walks of late and I'm glad I finally got to accompany him on one :)
Had a dream last night that I saw my old raving buddy K. again. K. was an exceptionally cool person - loud and obnoxious where I was quiet and reserved, and being around him gave me a chance to act up and talk back in ways that I usually wouldn't. He was one of the group of friends I raved, laughed, and hung out with during my last 2 years of college, who gave me the honor of being "one of the boys". He also had sterling taste in music and was constantly falling in love with some new girl/record or another. Fun guy :)
He moved to Boston about the same time I moved up here, and AFAIK all of us lost track of him after that. I do hope he's doing well, and finally met a girl he could stay in love with.
OK - time to face another wet and mildewy day....
