anotheranonTime to face facts.
I do not have allergies. My eyes aren't itching, and haven't since yesterday.
I do, however, still have a running nose and sore throat.
I'm sick.
I fscking hate being sick. I hate feeling subpar and like I'm not "up" to doing all the things I WANT and need to do!
D. has been kind and helpful, though not hovering - just as I like it. I'm doubly irritated because the weather is nice and we wanted to hit a museum today. He insists I rest, and when I mention "maybe tomorrow?" he nods calmly and says we should wait to see how I'm doing in the morning :P
He's right. He's always been better at taking care of his health and resting when he needs to. But dammit, it's not like I'm planning on running a marathon tomorrow!
But he's right.
Feeling mostly normal except for sore throat, probably due to Dayquil. I have to keep reminding myself that my cold is not gone, just managed.
[dramatic sigh] Think I should probably go convalesce on sofa and sew. While under a thick polarfleece blanket - I'm not cold but I plan to roast this virus to death!
