Got up extremely late today - I slept till noon. I think my body was trying to get rid of the last dredges of this cold and succeeded rather well.

Re-sanded with the body scrub I got at the spa last weekend. The secret to make the stuff work is to use it on dry skin - using it in the shower doesn't do much as it washes off as soon as you put it on.

I was also a good person today - I exercised (dumbells and aerobic), sat in front of my light and even got some Real Sunlight(TM) by reading the new Neil Gaiman in front of a window. Gaiman scores again - the only fiction that I find so involving that I literally can't put it down.

I am trying to put things away - D. and I have a big problem with letting magazines and mail stack up all over the coffee and dinner tables and I'm tired of the clutter. Just wish I had more shelf space.

D. went out to get lunch and noticed a few snowflakes flying around. Sort of depressing news to me - I loved snow as a kid, but the adult reality of having to drive in it has totally ruined it for me. Of course, D. and my cold weather-loving cat Spice were all smiles and bouncing all over the house.

I have developed a nice blister on one hand from working on the stays (yeah, them again). I'm hand sewing the binding around the edges so I won't tear up the machine by accidentally sewing through a bone and it is hell on the hands. I can only do this for a couple of hours before it becomes really painful, on both skin and joints.

What's good for healing? I've got this blister and a couple of inadvertent cat scratches that refuse to heal.

Anyway - quiet day. I figure it is fruitless to try and start anything until next week.
