Didn't remember what I was supposed to remember - nah, that would be too easy :P However, I did find posted in my H-Costume digest a link to Oxford DNB's Lives of the Week entry for Janet Arnold, who as far as costume research goes is Da Man. You know that huge "Queen Elizabeth's Wardrobe Unlock'd" book I rhapsodize over? Her work. Clearly an unquenched thirst for knowledge, right up to the last.
