anotheranonMariel Zagunis gets the gold for women's individual sabre, and she almost didn't make the Olympic Team! And Sada Jacobson got the bronze the day before. These are the first Olympics to offer women's sabre, and the first time in 100 years that any American has won a fencing gold.
