officialgaiman: The Riddle of Nine has endorsement from the man himself. Sorry slash fans - it's actually geared for children, but is still quite good :)
I've been wearing my glasses most of this week it seems - makes the pollen easier to bear, but curiously for the first time in my life I have a reaction when I cut onions (?) - maybe the contacts shield my eyes in some way.
Got a new polarfleece throw (or rather, just a couple of yards of plain polarfleece) for the bed and there has been Much Feline Rejoicing. There has also been Much Feline Fighting, because cats don't learn how to share in "kitty-garten" :P They're so cute!
I've stuck to my Monday resolution fairly well: I have done some sewing for an hour each night, and a good amount of reading as well. I've exercised 2 out of 3 days so far and am fencing tonight. Note to self: the Kenmore sewing machine I brought back from Atlanta definitely needs to be serviced; haven't tested the Singer yet.
Cicada Watch: Screeching at the library, smashed all over the sidewalk at work, not a peep at home. Spice is getting cranky :P
