Ok..got home, took something for my head, sat in front of my lamp and chilled out some. I am feeling a little more together now, though I still dread going into the office tomorrow to do more of the SAME DAMN THING.....whatever, I have got to stop letting the intense doldrums of work ruin my time at home. Otherwise I'll end up filling this space with nothing but useless whining and bitching.

Perhaps its time to start looking at stuff to do to keep sane. I've found a spa that, incredibly, is local and got a good review in the Washingtonian. There are always museums. Geekchick, what happened to that tea room you talked about some time back?

Meanwhile, I'll lift my weights and then cosy up to another episode of "Andromeda" with my beading stuff.

I think it was one of those things that just didn't pop to the top of the "things to do" stack. I think it would be a fun holiday-ish activity though, I suppose I should just pick a date and post to the list.

Eek, following up to myself. =)

They seem to be having Holiday teas every weekend this month. Think we should try to make it a girls' afternoon out? (I say that mostly because I'm having a hard time envisioning any of the guys being enthusiastic about going to tea, although I'd be happy to be proven wrong. *grin*)

Yes.. It does kind of seem to be more of a girly thing, what with tartlets and scones. I'm not averse to guys either though.

And its in a historic area, and I love historic neighborhoods.

What does one wear to tea? I fear I don't have an Edwardian tea gown (yet? ;))

Nor do I, although Art & Artifact has a lovely "Edwardian tea dress" which I cannot currently justify. ;) I don't know, honestly; I've never been to tea. =) I think my plan would just be to wear something that's not jeans and a tshirt, yet would still not be totally impractical to wander a bit of the area in.
