end of day notes

anotheranonGot the chemise done; finished the hem while watching "Blackadder Goes Forth". The instructions for inserting the neck drawstring mention that the pattern will need to be altered if it shows above the dress neckline - now they tell me! No matter - it's simple enough to alter/remake (shudder!) if I have to. Next step: corset outer and completion of that project.
Have been swilling water all day because the weather's more like May 1 than Nov. 1 - sunny and nearly 80F (!). Enjoying it while it's here, but I know it can't last.
Tomorrow the historic fencing group I've been wondering about is finally meeting near me, so I'm going to go check it out and learn more.
