Here's at least one other woman of similar temprement, Marian Firth, also known as Mad Mall. In January of 1612, she is recorded in the Consistory of London Correction Book as confessing " - - that she had long frequented all or most of the disorderly and licentious places in this Citie as namely she hath usually in the habite of a man resorted to alehowses Tavernes Tobacco shops & also to play howses there to see plaies & pryses & namely being at a playe 3 quarters of a yeare since at the ffortune in man's apparall & in her bootes & with a sword by her side - - - & hath also usually associated herself with Ruffinly swaggering & lewd company as namely with cut purses blasphemous drunkardes & others of bad note - - - with whom she hath to the great shame of her sexe often tymes (as she sayd) dranke hard & distempered her heade with drinke - - ".
Not sure is she was a swordswoman of note, but that sure sounds like swashbuckler behaviour to me! :)
