anotheranonI have been given permission to get a small space heater for my office, considering that I'm situated so close to the server room that it is a refrigerator, even with the heat on. Joy! The ones at Target were so cheap I got another one for my sewing room. Finally, I can work and sew in REAL comfort!
Attn C. - I also have been running into "Hello Kitty" products a lot lately. Target had a Hello Kitty blowdryer - adult sized. And some other Kitty thing.... also I saw very cute "Monsters Inc." sheets.
At Safeway I could swear I saw Hello Kitty pot noodles, but that has GOT to be my imagination.
My new contact lens came in today - strengthened just enough so that things are the slightest bit sharper, and light is just a little bit less diffuse. Its been a long time since my prescription has changed; while I'm disappointed that I'm getting worse again I forgot how cool a new prescription can be in terms of seeing detail that you couldn't before.
The 2nd half of that Lexx movie I was watching last night didn't record. Pity, because it appeared to have an identifiable plot, however strange. The robot head has the best insults :)
I have a dental appointment and fencing tomorrow. Not that mentioning this is particularly interesting, but the holiday has screwed up my mental schedule and I am liable to forget if I don't mention it somewhere.
Interesting factoid of the day - did you know that humans cannot efficiently form long-term memories until 3 years of age? And I thought it was just me that couldn't remember much before kindergarten...

And did I mention how the Disney store sucked us all in for a long time with the mass Monsters, Inc. merchandising? I really want the stuffed "Little Mikey" (the three-legged, one-eyed stuffed toy). I think I'll make it a "got a job offer" present to myself, assuming that first part ever happens. =)
