Only bummer - no fencing either :( I suppose I can do footwork while the world outside blows around.

And I admit, I filled a few bottles with water and put them in the spare bathroom tub. Better safe than sorry!

I keep tyring to explaing the whole "hurricane" thing to these silly midwesterners I'm living among. (I'm from northern NJ)

They say "Well, yeah, but we have tornadoes"
To which I reply "Hurricanes MAKE little tornadoes!"

I recall when Belle made it up the coast,and sent a metal trash can through our glassed-in porch, then out the other side before the can flattened itself against the shed. We took the inflatable boat out on Beresford Road.
