hi from a long time

anotheranonJust heard from L., who I went to college with back in the day (just realized the other day it's been 8 years since I graduated [!]). It was wonderful to hear from her; for the past couple of years she's been working and traveling, and has finally settled in one place to go back to school.
We caught up on old friends and family - a few surprises, but still, a lot of things stay the same. I'm pleased to say that most of my college buddies are doing well for themselves, but I think the last time most of us were in the same place was actually for mine and D.'s wedding - we are very far flung now.
I hope I'm able to see her one of these days - I think the last time was probably winter 2001.
