I am rather like my cats.

No, I am not soft and fluffy with a spine made completely of rubber. I'm wedded to routine.

So much so that I get very, VERY discombobulated if my plans go slightly awry.

In the past few days I've experienced more rage and anxiety over a missing bill, a forgotten emissions test, and a missed bus than is reasonable or healthy.

Part of this is that I failed to plan into my schedule adequate (or any) Fuck Up Time(TM) - time allowed for Shit That Just Happens(TM) - but another part of it is that I'm still on the steep learning curve of mindfulness. It's not something I am naturally, it's something I have to practice until it becomes habit.

Until that happy day, freak out is my rather crappy default setting.
