Busy weekend:

Saturday was Faire. I'd dithered about going because of the threat of rain, but the sky looked ok when I got up, so....

dress up for adults! )

fencing foo in which I do not suck :) )

Was able to do both of these things because I got my car to the mechanic Monday and they replaced my muffler/exhaust pipe (yes! I guessed right!) in one day.

For the week ahead: enjoying the calm before the storm of quarterly reports on Weds. Trying to tie up loose ends (and start some new ones) in the Florentine Trip Planning. Laundry. Managing feline diet. Foot exercises. Recovery.

From the comments: "One of the best songs from the best drug album EVER":

Don't know that I'd say "best" but I would put forth "damn good". I don't know much about Primal Scream's history but I gather from the Wikipedia article that they were a fairly standard UK indie band until the second Summer of Love, when they went all dancey. Good thing too, as the single is only a brief taste of the dense, sensuous (love the intake of breath) 10 minute full length version.
