October 4, by the Atlanta Music Museum.

I was too young/timid/sheltered to have ever gone to the Metroplex, but heard about it from seniors when I was a high school freshman. I did go to several rave-type things at the club that succeeded it at 688 Spring Street (I think that's where I first saw Moby), but can't for the life of me remember it's name....

I am amused that the Masquerade is still around (and a bit surprised - I heard it burnt down?). I was in Hell every Sunday night for DJ Jon's unmixed techno ca. summer '92 and the first rave I went to was in a tiny shed/warehouse thing behind it...
