Got my car tuned up and got a number of pumps/belts replaced. Cost a pretty penny but not nearly as pretty as it would have had I not been saving for this (or some other) eventuality already. Let's hear it for advance planning :P
I am rewiring one blade at a time, in stages - tonight the tip, tomorrow the wire, 'cos I can't face dealing with those teeny screws AND gluing my fingers together all in one go :P
Sleeve puffs are gathered; I'll fine-tune them when I handsew them in. Tomorrow: measure around my bicep to figure out how long the bands should be.
Am watching bits of the fencing online. "Live streaming" means what it says; it even includes the stretches where nothing is happening :P
The Olympic fencers I've watched so far have phenomenally controlled footwork - fast and tiny. These people can likely kick through walls and do origami with their toes! [envy]
