my tasty backyard

Went out to dinner with former fencing buddy K. tonight at a restaurant of her choice - the Indian place across the street from my house that I've been too lazy to try out :P

It was fantastic :)

Lessee, that means I've got good Italian and Indian within a 5 minute walk, and shabu-shabu after a more ambitious trek of 30-45 min. And it took not-so-local friends to get me to two of these.

Sometimes it does pay to get out of the car and see what's right under one's nose.

Related: I have a somewhat Earth Day-ish posting brewing in the back of my mind, but it will have to come later as it's bedtime now and I've managed to overbook myself creatively this week. I may have to [shock! horror!] skip fencing on Thursday (!)
