landmark year
Feb. 1st, 2008 08:28 pm...and not just 'cos of the elections in November.
I've not done much that's new since the start of the year but it seems like everyone around me is - since 1/1 alone there's been an engagement, a death, a a couple of job losses, an expansion of career opportunities, two moves, the reemergence of an old friend, surprises good and bad. I can't believe it's only February because my mental timer based on Stuff Happening says it's gotta be spring by now.
If the past 31 days have been any indiation, this is going to be a pivotal year for me and mine. I just hope it's more good stuff than bad </inner cynic>
