whole lotta nothin'
Sep. 6th, 2007 07:20 pmToday I was confined to the upstairs sans computer or sewing machine, so I just read. Read, and nodded off, and read a bit more, and moved the furniture back when the contractors were done. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jlsjlsjls, I went and started "Sons of Heaven" - yeah, I'm in the middle of other stuff but it's just irresistible!
The windows are fantastic - double paned = no wrapping in plastic this winter! Also they open and close smoothly which is a real treat given how sticky the old ones could be.
The cats were not thrilled to be wrangled into the guest room, even with the windows open but they seem very happy now that the windows are in. Spice in particular enjoys lounging grandly on her coffee table (because it IS hers, she just lets us use it) and looking out onto her domain :P
Unfortunately house flies got in but I'm confident that the cats will dispatch them in the next day or so, if the halogen lamps don't get 'em first....
