stains and fidgety things
Oct. 9th, 2006 10:50 pmBleach gets everywhere. More specifically, the stink of it Will Not Die: I used 10% diluted solution to try and spot-remove stains off a white t-shirt (some success), and multiple hand washings, dinner, alcohol gel, lotion, and 5+ hours later my nails still smell of it. And the lemon scented version makes not one whit of difference :P
I'm learning to wear a long apron with all of these home maintenance experiments, because it's much easier to not worry about chocolate/tomato/curry/whatever when it doesn't reach your clothes in the first place :P
Got D. and myself some "fidgety things" in the form of hand grips, useful for all manner of fidgeting while reading/watching tv/waiting for something to download. For such simple things I can feel the "burn" all the way up the back of my arms - crazy!
Instead of a retroactive "to do" list of what all I did this weekend, I finish here. I've got to learn not to post in here unless I have something interesting to report.
