in which the protagonist loses her mind
Apr. 17th, 2006 09:41 pmI was getting ready to add the collar to my progressing very-well fencing doublet, when I learned with a very nasty shock:
I have no idea where the sleeve pattern is.
None. I'm tearing apart the dining room, the sewing area, going through every scrap of newsprint I've touched in the past n months with jaw agape because I'm somehow staggered that my messiness/lack of organization has bitten me this hard in the ass and I really, really don't want to have to draft that bastard again....
Ok, stop, regroup. This UFO (unfinished object) cannot proceed any further until I know where everything is. And I was gonna take some purty pictures of it and all too...
Update 10:10 pm: I found it. Or, at least I THINK it's the final draft. Thank [insert deity here]!
I mustn't let this discovery hinder the real need to tidy up my workspace.
Of course, I will forget this completely by the time I lose something else :P
