In addition: thank you all for your drink recommendations. I picked up some Famous Grouse whisky and Bacardi select dark rum. Will review whenever I open them up :)
I was supposed to meet A. and several other fencing buddies (who, coincdentally, all have the initials "A") at the renn faire today but it has been raining steadily since yesterday and in the interest of not getting mud all over my garb or anything else I chose to wear I stayed home.
Going out this evening but think I'll spend a bit of time leafing through "5000 Years of Chinese Costume" first. It arrived today and is in much better shape than I expected, considering it was described as having some smoke damage around the edges - I expected singed or dried out pages, but there's only a slight soot residue. Kewl :)
