last post before driving
Aug. 10th, 2005 09:49 pmIt's almost 10 pm the day before I roadtrip, I'm still packing and yet not freaking out. This must be some sort of record....
Won't be back until Tues. so I thought I'd leave off with some actual (gasp!) content:
Pantone's top 10 fashion colors for Fall 2005. Ruby Wine, Gloxina, and American Beauty I like very much and I LURVE Moroccan Blue, under all it's many names (teal, cadet blue, peacock blue, etc.) - I hope their prediction is right and there's a lot of it around this fall! The olives and oranges I can live without, but that's because my skin is about the same shade as what they're calling "Atmosphere" - olive skin doesn't like moss green or ginger (burnt or otherwise), no it doesn't precioussss....
I DO like Stumptuous.Com's beginners guide to women's weightlifting and perused it at length. This is something I think I can start with the free weights I already have, and will hopefully burn calories/help with my bone density and depression/gain strength for rapier and much, much more! I especially enjoyed the mythbusting section that should reassure everyone out there who's reading this screaming "you'll be a man, baby!" (can't link directly - bloody framed site).
Need to finish packing and get some sleep - the rental co. takes me to my car at 8 am (! what was I thinking??)
