Manic Monday
Mar. 7th, 2005 07:55 pmHad a great weekend with D., my mother-in-law and her sisters/D.'s aunts. I am one of those lucky few who gets along with her in-laws :)
We spent Saturday at Hillwood house and gardens. Most of them had never been, and I'd not been in years. It's amazing how Faberge's works manage to look luxe and rich and textured without looking overdone or tacky :) It was even warm enough (only just) to walk around the (mostly dead) gardens.
Sunday was joint birthday/dinner for D.'s mom and all of her sisters, and we talked until quite late. I've been overly lucky to have a lot of good conversation lately - and I'm still hoarse from last night (or, at least, sore throated).
Friday night took the online "post-test"/final for the library orientation - found out today I passed.
Going to be a packed week: fencing tomorrow, spencer workshop Weds., hair finally getting cut Thursday.
