another web toy

Tried to come up with a clever header there, but I'm just too tired.
Got up early to have the drain cap on my car fixed; the mechanic also found that my brake pads were dangerously thin and I went ahead and had them replaced as well. 2 1/2 early morning hours in a poorly heated waiting room does not make for an auspicious start to the day.
Also, I am struck by the observation that I've been to 2 different mechanics in the past 6 months and each and every one (body shop was run by several guys in the same family) has had perfect teeth. Evenly spaced, straight, and oh-so-white. No, today's shop didn't gouge me, but it occurs to me that with all the winter weather and ensuing wrecks, they must make amazing bank this time of year :P Local orthodontists rejoice!
Finished the day on a high note with a big pot of yummy brunswick stew.
Now I am off to bed before my eyes fall out of my head.
