notions and findings

Peeled from the SiliCon website into one of my lists, and shared here: descriptions of hall costumes and masquerade costumes and the difference between the two. So my non-con going readers will have some idea what the )!#*~ I'm talking about when I say I'm making one or the other, or debating whether a new creation will fit into either or both categories :P
No sewing tonight, as I was televisually feasting (see 2 entries prior). Feeling a little less stiff and sore, but still loading up on echinacea, just to be on the safe side.
My training finished up early so I took a quick trip out to the JoAnn's sale - my kingdom for a natural fiber!!! Ok, it wasn't THAT bad, but I had nurtured a tiny hope that rumors of $2/yd linen and wool might turn out to be true, but I fear my location caters more to the "crafty" crowd - great if you want calico sections and stretch velvet, but for anything else... not so much. Hell, I tried.
Not sure what else I wanted to say here. I suppose I should probably get ready for bed, and all of that.
