MUCH... belated birthday to mjpg! Hope you had a good one!

ahhh.. relief!

After the past month of stress, it was a REAL treat to finally get to do some fast and furious saber today! It turns out that a few club members are also flirting with classical epee and foil, so I got to do my "usual" weapon as well :) It's a slightly different game (the emphasis is on defense rather than offense), but I got a good workout, if a bit beat up besides.

That felt good. Just wanted to share that :)

Note to self: costume footwear source

Cheap prices probably = cheaply made, but that's ok if these are just for costume purposes. No "renaissance boots" here (too pointy - perhaps medieval?), but just about everything else!

Noteworthy: sexy punky stilletos, reeks of sci-fi, possible "backup" Aeryn boot, bigfoot with a dye job, retro wrestling boots (for superheroes?), and silver thigh high platforms (because, couldn't we ALL use a pair of those? :P)
