Trying to have a (relatively) quiet weekend. My allergies (cold?) are no better and my nose is raw, but I've got a stack of books going and am stocked with cocoa!

Got my car back from the body shop yesterday. As it was dark and pouring down rain, I didn't get the chance to take a good look at it until today.

Wow. WOW! The shop did better than even they claimed! The left side is now shiny red and brand-new looking; they warned me in advance that because the bumper still needs to be done they weren't going to go out of their way to exactly match the paint but it looks absolutely seamless to me!

I'm trying not to think about the expense or inconvenience and just concentrate on the fact that I've got my little car back, and it's mine and it's familiar and does what I want and reacts in ways I expect :)

I'm debating whether I want to drive out to a fencing class tomorrow that is an hour away - I'd like to fence but at the same time I don't want to do much non-local driving. That just seems to be tempting fate.
