(no subject)

I have decided that I'm going to have a better week than last, if it kills me! My first steps towards this great ambition is to 1) get enough sleep, and 2) get exercise, even if it's a boring 20 minutes on the exercise bike.

I did manage to copy the POTC jacket pattern to newsprint, so I will make a muslin soon - note, I do not say "this week", because there's no pressing need for it, and if I need rest, that comes first.

D. is pleased that I'm taking time out for myself, but I worry that my reclusiveness is also taking time away from him :( He never complains, though often he has good cause.

OK - time to face another week of work.

future planning: SCA Boots

I've been looking for awhile for a site that carries over-the-knee boots in mens sizes and thanks to the targeted ads on Gmail the site found me!

One of my costume plans for D. involves doublet, breeches and these boots. It's one of the few times I'll make a concession to historical innaccuracy, just because I think D. would look very hot in them ;)

Similarly available for women, in case I ever need some serious swashbuckling gear :)
