Wasted a couple of hours over at baaaaabyanimals (yes, that's 5 "a"s, don't lose count) because there are some days when you really need a megadose of cute, and how can looking at baby mice, rats, spiders, and cats possibly be time ill spent? :) Thanks geekchick!

Will write something of more substance soon, I promise - all of my deep thoughts are currently suppressed in favor of the whole birth, school, work, death cycle at the moment. Gimme time...

Had my performance review today - excellent marks all round, there is a raise in my future. Score!!

I figure I so often lament my shortcomings in this space that I'd for once sing my own praises, because I worked hard for that, dammit!!
