rest of the weekend

My internet connection finally became "unstuck" and I was able to look through my mailing lists, etc. Did searches for HP costumes; right now Lockhart's duelling costume is running 1st place because it's the only one I've found really good pictures for :P
Today we celebrated D.'s birthday a day early with dinner from Mamma Lucia's (yum!) I wish I could do more for him on his birthday, but it's tricky.
I enjoyed a 3 day break from coffee and realized how very badly caffiene makes my mind race. Counterintuitive though it is, I'm going to try and taper off this fall - I like being able to concentrate!
Also gave myself a pedicure, something I've intended since.. oh... July sometime :P Now have lovely pearlized burgundy toenails. Give me another six weeks, I might manage a manicure!
I'm not looking forward to the daily grind tomorrow. Three day weekends should really be lengthened to 4 or 5 days for optimum relaxation ;)
