weekend

Thank you all for the congrats on our anniversary! It was a quiet but very good one. D. made brownies for me; I made him turkey burgers. We watched "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" again, full of martial arts (yay Michelle Yeoh!) and a very subtle love story. Best line: "I would rather be a ghost drifting by your side as a condemned soul than enter heaven without you" ([[sigh]] Secret: D. and I can be quite slushy sometimes!) Has it really been six years? It feels more like two - time flies when you're having fun!

Am still doing some research for the embroidered partlet; I won't bore with the details but I'm trying to find documentation for the layout I want to do. Perfect Sew is a wonderful thing for stabilizing slinky fabrics - even though I'm not sure the fabric is completely on grain, at least it won't move while I'm working on it!

My 4+ binders of magazine clips has been reduced to less than one. Trimming the fat can be a wonderful thing :)
