rainy weekend

I had intended to go out to the Folger for the Queen Elizabeth exhibit, but it's raining so hard I think I'm going to give it a miss, at least for this week.

Mild acid reflux (ah, the vindaloo is worth the suffering!) has laid me up, so I did research most of the morning in preparation for making a muslin of the Regency corset. I'm pre-shrinking the test fabric, and also thinking what a slick nightclub/fetish type outfit this would make if made in modern fabrics.

Off to drink more baking soda in water...
