Jan. 27th, 2003 10:20 pmLargely uneventful weekend, though my friend G. finally got her crew together for another sewing circle. After the requisite getting lost (I have determined that I CAN drive in the city - I'd just rather have dental work than do so), I had a good time and chatted with a new person who was there for the first time. Madly sewing along, I was able to finish a few more eyelets on my stays - getting there, getting there....as a side costume geekery note, don't forget to vote in my poll. I found a starting point for Aeryn's (Farscape) duster. You've been warned ;)
I'm keeping an eye on current events - this summary of Blix's report is pretty damning, but I'm still not seeing evidence that Iraq could get W of MD to the U.S. shores, or evidence that Sadaam was "in it" with Al Quaeda (damn, I still can't spell that!)
Today was painfully cold and the wind was so fierce I couldn't suppress whining as I walked from parking lot to building today. My car is covered in salt and either my wiper fluid is either frozen or has run out. I'd love it to rain and clean things up but with these temperatures it would certainly be ice </weather bitching>.
I think I have done something odd to my back; it is quite sore unless I sit up VERY straight. I think it may be time to bug H. for a massage.
