I am rapidly realizing that winter is not the best time for me to work on a sewing project. The pants are still creeping along, but barely. I have several yards of green linen canvas and was considering making a farthingale but at this rate I know it won't happen. I really should learn to confine winter costuming activities to research.

Usual - grocery store, odd putting up and away around the house.
I went to G Street for some buttons (which I did not find) with the intention of moving on to the maul for last minute shopping before my seasonal maul blackout (not back in one until the start of the year). The Xmas music alone in G Street was enough to dissuade me from this route. I have to say - online shopping and catalogs rock, or I'd never get holiday gift giving done.
I got ingredients for regular cornbread and Jalapeno cornbread - that's PROPER cornbread, the type without sugar (for any Yankees who may be reading :P).
Read a bit and tried to keep from nodding off while doing so - I get still and I start to drift in and out. Of course, that sets me wide awake at 11 pm.
