Ossuary with name of "James, brother of Jesus" identified in Jerusalem.

Interesting, but I'm led to understand that Jesus (Jeshua - Joshua) was an extremely common name in 1st century Judaea.

I'm always fascinated at the idea that some of the Biblical stories might have a basis in fact, especially considering that there is very little mention of Jesus outside of the Bible (I think there might be a Roman account of the crucifixion of a minor criminal by the same name). However, I also realize that for the faithful, proof isn't really needed quite so desperately - that's what faith is about.

Interesting, but my jury is still out. I may try to find other versions of this story though.
