Puss in Books: Adventures of the Library Cat (free registration required to view the movie) - a story about cats that live/"work" in libraries, including the history of the famous "Baker and Taylor" cats. My mom has worked in a public library for years, so I know all about those two anyway. For years she also had a picture of Bobby, the cat we grew up with, sitting in a high chair with a book next to her workplace's Baker and Taylor posters.

The production company of this site also includes a map of the world's library cats.

I recieved my wig today, just as I was wondering what had happened to it. It looks good, and should look good on - I haven't tried it on yet because I just got my hair colored and don't want to dye the inside of the wig (just yet - dye bleed is inevitable, even with Special Effects).

I also got my supply list for my drawing class that starts Tuesday, yay! The syllabus that came with it assured me that this is far beyond simply sitting and drawing a vase, something I can do by myself. No, there will be discussion of geometry, lighting, and basic facial anatomy. It will be nice to get back into drawing and learn something new in it.

I got the Fire Mountain Gems 400+ page bead catalog this week and I am aching to order, but their website isn't working and I'm just lazy enough that I'd rather wait until their online ordering is back instead of making an elaborate list of item numbers and quantities and attempting to convey it over the phone.
