Started Sharepoint training today - it is good to talk to someone who knows what they're doing; I feel less like I'm casting around blind with the program. The trainer is also blunt and to the point - if something works strangely because it's a bug, he calls it like it is. Refreshing.

geekchick sent me information about this droolicious dress which only fans the flame to make some new Tudor or Elizabethan dress that was lit when I saw some incredible stuff done out at Costume College. At some point I'm going to crack open the wonderful patterns I got from Alteryears and make a dress with a double-sided forepart and a pair of matching sleeves for each fabric - 2 outfits in one!

I've just booked tickets to visit my parents on the first weekend in October. D. is going with me.

It will be good to see them - I haven't seen them since their visit in May and not since Dad started having his health troubles. He's going home hopefully by the weekend, and I hope he can stay there for awhile, no surprises, etc.
