Chick night, woo!

A great quiet evening with my friends and various odd tv shows. It was good to talk and find out what everyone has been doing; I should really have friends over more often than I do. With my overinvolvement in work and hobbies sometimes I forget that human contact is essential and I need to learn my lesson.

I hope geekchick and H. sort out their respective car problems. I should probably contact G. to find out why she was MIA last night.

I also got to be bad - French silk chocolate pie (heaven) and Armand's barbecue chicken pizza (ambrosia).

Stayed up VERY late, and woke up perhaps relatively early this morning by comparison.

Today it rained. Also, being Easter, everything was closed, which was a good thing - no temptation to go drive around/shop when I had things to do.

I unwound the mock Fortuny and it turned out better than expected!! It has good movement but the pleats are very firmly set - I will still store it twisted into a knot when finished though.

I was able to create the lacing holes and add laces, but I will need to go searching for the perfect beads as trim/lace ends (so they can't come out of the holes - clear as mud?). Purple, I think, if I can find the right shade.

Also completed some (sigh) cobalt and gold jewelry for myself. The nice thing about wire and bead work is that you get results quickly.

Tired due to lack of sleep and dark weather but I'm staying awake so as not to screw up my schedule even more than it already has been.

Finally got myself in gear and copied "Sunburned Country" and other goodies for listening tomorrow. I am looking at a week or 2 solid coding project and I like to catch up on my "reading" when doing repetitive work.

If anyone comes at me with "Saved as HTML" tomorrow I will cry - even if it's an April Fool.
