Went out for ghost stories in Rockville last night. There were a few new stories (or at any rate, some I didn't remember from last year). I should probably haul out to the DC version when they have that walk in November.

I slept nearly 12 hours last night. Except for the ensuing chaotic dreams, it felt REALLY GOOD. I don't think I've let myself sleep that late in months.

I'm pleased because I spent most of the day slacking - also something I never let myself do. Doing some hand sewing and watching "Victoria and Albert" off replay tv and my "Elizabeth R" DVD. "V&A" was all right, "E.R" is spectacular. Besides being historically accurate it just looks so damn good. I'm definitely going to have to go through it with the pause button!

Hand sewing stabs + flu shot= winding up the day in pain. I feel like I've hit both my arm and my thumb with a hammer.

I'm debating whether to hit the Renaissance women show at the Smithsonian tomorrow or save it for another weekend. The weather was cold windy and depressing today so the idea of dragging myself downtown is not appealing. Of course, with daylight savings time ending, its not like the cold/lack of light is going to improve much until next April. I hate this.. there are so many things I want to do but generally speaking the last engagement of the year that I can reasonably count on being concious for is Halloween. All bets are off after that :(

Setting clocks back....
